An English vintage themed wedding theme in Bangalore
Attending an english countryside wedding in the heart of Bangalore at
the Taj Westend was a quite a treat for the guests of Mr. & Mrs. Poddar.
Our first meeting with the Poddar family and we were told that they are
looking for wedding planners in Bangalore who have fresh ideas for an
English theme vintage country side wedding décor and who understand the
essence and who can do a brilliant execution for their daughter's
wedding reception. We knew we were up for the challenge as their wedding
planners and their wedding decorators.
Taj Westend opened its vast and expansive gardens for the reception of the gorgeous couple. They were extremely accommodating for the Chirmi wedding team of wedding planners.
A vintage theme reception can be justified only if there are hand crafted elements. With a very dedicated and well informed wedding planners team at Chirmi events, we set out to look for the best of the best for this Job. Right from hand-painted welcome boards to the dreamy entrance with lace arches and pathway filled up with pearls, fairy lights, white and pink flowers, we made sure every wedding decoration detail is taken care off.
Add to that a wooden swing and it sets a perfect spot to celebrate love and be captured as a memory for life. Hand crafted wooden crates with pearls and floral décor to rustic center pieces, old type writers, clocks and gramophones to mason jars and flower urns placed all around the lawn are a few examples to show at what length we go to make your wedding planning and wedding décor dream come true.
Would a union like this be complete without the blessings from the loved ones...we dint think so. A vintage cart with writing cards to leave your message was the perfect solution. And for the ones who enjoy a drink to add to their celebration, a huge cut out of the word 'BAR' was suspended. The band was given the perfect inspiration for their classic English and Hindi songs with old vinyl records suspended around the tent. A gradient shade of white to pink backdrop looked spectacular and went perfect with the outfits of the couple. The final touch which subtly did the job of creating the right ambience for this evening was the various kinds of Lights. We had every element that would transport you to a European country side, and as wedding planners we just it right and enjoyed every bit of this.
All of this would not be possible without a very warm and welcoming family of the Poddar's from Aashirwad pipes. We'd like to thank you for giving us this opportunity and keeping trust in us as their wedding planners.
We wish them all the love and luck.
Sharanya & Rakshith
A Polka dots engagement theme to remember!
Fall in love with our polka dots Engagement décor.
Sharanya & Rakshith wanted a brunch engagement and as their wedding planners & wedding decorators we at Chirmi weddings enjoyed doing every bit of it. Polka dots never get old and polka dot theme wedding décor theme is always a mark of style & sophistication. Polka dots décor is very experimental and not many choose this décor. Though sharanya was very confident about this and that's why it was a hit.
Black-white and a tinge of pink was her wedding décor theme and it came out just perfect. With showing samples of how their engagement would look to booking her caterer and helping her choose her outfit to customizing their dance floor. It was absolute fun. Open venues are a boon to wedding planners in Bangalore. It gets so much more fun to work and do any kind of wedding decorations and we as wedding planners always enjoy open spaces. Once such event venue is Bangalore is Temple tree farm in sahakarnagar. Simple, clean and open. We would like to thank them for giving us this opportunity. We wish them the very best.
The Guide To Choosing The Top Wedding Planner
He asked, you said yes and now you've got his ring on your finger. But before you say your I dos, there is a lot of work cut out for you. Being a part of a wedding is the easy bit. But creating,
planning and directing a wedding before exchanging your rings and tying the knot, takes some real talent. In a mad rush, you may have a dozen ideas and plans waiting to be executed.
But dealing with such a large-scale event is much more than a one-man job. You need a team of people to micromanage every minute detail of the day along with choosing the right location and vendors. To make your task easier, here comes the guide to finding your perfect wedding planner. But before you get down to finding your dream wedding planner, here's what should be on your checklist;
1. What exactly is your budget?
2. How many people would you invite?
3. Is it just a one-day event or a series of events?
4. The date, time and location of your wedding
5. A basic feel of what you want your wedding to look like
Get started on your way to finding the best;
Google your wedding planners or get in touch with your friends and family to refer you to known planners. Look for planners in around your location. Once you have narrowed it down, familiarize yourself with their websites. Looking at pictures, awards and reading client testimonials could help you understand them and their team. Not only that, it would help you to understand their sense of style by their use of décor. The more you understand their online presence, the more you will gain an understanding of their ability to execute your event.
2. Get in touch!
Call up your top 3 or 4 wedding planners to understand the types of services they offer, the wedding date availability, and the price of the wedding or a rough estimate. If their answers are to your liking, set up a meeting with them to move ahead to the next step.
3. Prep for your meeting!
Take with you all your points of inspiration, like pictures from magazines, Pinterest and all other sources of social media. During your meeting, ask them about their previous clients, vendors and their portfolio to understand if their vision matches yours. Talk about their ideas and opinions, to see whether they match up to your level of enthusiasm. Allow them to narrow down their services, so that you can pick the ones you wish to have and leave out the ones you do not want. A good wedding planner should be able to listen to and visualize your ideas and turn it into a grand reality. Since you will be working together as a team, your wedding planner must be in perfect sync with you professionally and personally.
4. Seal the deal!
Once you have done your research, ask around for further references, make a list of pros and cons, take time to compare prices and go through formal proposals to weigh in your final call to finding the right fit. A wedding planners personality, working style and aesthetic are very important to work together in perfect harmony, so pick the one who really understands you and your needs. Once found, call immediately to secure your planner and receive the contract to seal the deal. As soon as you have signed and paid your deposit, you're set to get the ball rolling. Your wedding is not just another day, but an event that will be a part of the rest of your life. Make it special and make it yours.

I am a native New Yorker and have lived in the same Manhattan apartment all my life, first as a child and now with my husband and our vast collection of vinyl records. I crossed the river to Brooklyn for middle and high school every day and now it's still a favorite destination for hanging with friends. My event planning experience began by producing rock concerts at the University of Chicago, and while my love for music has never waned, my focus on events shifted towards the wedding industry when I began working at a small mom-and pop-bridal salon. I quickly made weddings my career from dresses and veils, to custom stationery, to wedding catering sales. I planned my first wedding in 2006 and have never looked back. You can find me on the dance floor with my planning clipboard in hand.

I'm a San Francisco native, with a bit of New York soul. I'm a detail obsessed creative and met Lindsay when I was a student in one of her wedding planning courses in NYC. After almost a decade in New York, I migrated back home to raise my family. In the Bay Area, I managed events for a 5-star luxury hotel until I was lucky enough to rejoin the LLE team on the West Coast. I pride myself in tying a perfect bow and being a spreadsheet queen. When I'm not doing that, I am mom to 2 wonderful, curious little humans.
